Count Occurrences in a Sorted Array
Problem
The array is sorted from small to big and may have duplicates. Print how many times the number k appears. Use two binary searches (first place and first place after k): O(log n).
Constraints
- 1 <= n <= 10^5
Examples
Input
5 1 2 2 2 3 2
Output
3
Solutions
Equal numbers sit together in a sorted array. Two binary searches find where the group starts and where it ends. The count is the difference. O(log n).

Hints (2)
- Why is the lower bound of k + 1 the end of the group?
- What is the answer if k is missing?
